Territory Sales Manager: responsible to deliver sales targets and provide customer support to key accounts. I achieved excellent sales versus target goals through out this time. This involved project management to identify and execute a sales strategy to enhance market share. Success was achieved by partnership relationships and working closely to identify, discover and deliver the needs of the Medical Profession. The years 2006, 2005, and 2004 were particularly successful measured by sales versus target for lead product.

Territory Manager: Responsible to deliver customer support and training to a specialist customer group in line with the strategic aim to strengthen market position. This resulted in an excellent sales performance and sales related rewards.

SMITH KLINE BEECHAM, VACCINES DIVISION

CONTRACT                                      Scotland and Northern Ireland

Responsible for the sales and commercialisation of SKB vaccines portfolio to specialist Health Care Professionals.  I developed a business plan and strategy for the full product range for Scotland and Northern Ireland. This involved organising 12 high profile clinical meetings, significantly developing key account customers, and advising on the establishment of travel vaccine clinics. Significant growth was achieved and resulted in bonus being paid.

Responsible for the sales and promotion of cardiovascular and psychiatric products to hospital physicians and other key influencers. My contributions included conceiving and establishing the corporate clinical meetings programme process, developing an ambitious business plan in Scotland and executing a clinical meetings strategy to build long term sustainable growth.  I achieved a high competitive position on my territory.

Responsible for the promotion of the company’s ethical medicines to GPs, Hospital Doctors, and Pharmacists. Achievements included a high level of contacts, sales and a full understanding of sales marketing. The first class training courses attended lead to a first class competence in territory sales management.

2006   Three exceptionally successful years 2004/2005/2006 with sales at No.1 and No. 4  for sales versus target, with excellent product growth. Over target sales with, Respiratory,  Cardiovascular products and developed the Incontinence and Depression market which involved working with nurses and Physiotherapists in addition to medics.

2000   Responsible for achieving product growth, which took my Geographic area from 74 th position to 10th

1999   Achieved sales targets and bonus in Territory Manager position. Responsible for product support to a specialist group of customers. I delivered product and disease management training to nurses which involved delivering presentations on EPO, Stem Cells and Anaemia. Over achieved target sales and  Received bonus for achievement of territory goals.
